About Michael Thomas
Michael Thomas is the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Freight University, Logistical Forwarding Solutions, and the Logistics Circular Infrastructure Initiative. With over 23 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and freight education, he is recognized as a national leader in AI-powered infrastructure design, logistics reform, and circular economic development.
Michael is the author and architect of the Heavy-Duty Repair Transparency & Fairness Act (HD-RTFA)—a historic, privately-authored legislative initiative submitted across multiple U.S. states. This groundbreaking bill targets predatory repair and towing practices within the commercial vehicle industry, integrating AI oversight, national pricing benchmarks, whistleblower protections, and a Verified Repair Network.
It is among the first legislative proposals in U.S. history to include real-time AI governance in infrastructure reform.

At Logistical Forwarding Solutions (LFS), Michael leads a national consulting platform that serves public agencies, private fleets, and infrastructure developers. He has introduced industry-leading systems for launching fleets, managing regulatory compliance, developing freight investment strategies, and designing sustainable supply chain operations.
