Apply for freight agent placement with LFS

If you know freight and want to book it under an established brokerage's authority, start here. LFS places agents with freight brokerages in the LFS network, each operating under its own authority. The application takes a few minutes, and we reply personally.

What we'll ask you

  • Your name, phone, email and the state you work from
  • Where you trained, including Freight University PLSP certification if you have it
  • Your experience in brokerage, dispatch, sales or trucking
  • The freight and lanes you know best
  • Whether you already have shipper relationships
  • Anything else you want us to know

What happens next

We read each application and reply to set up a direct conversation. If it is a fit on both sides, we look at which brokerage in the LFS network suits the freight you know, and the next step is a written agent agreement with that brokerage. Nothing is promised by sending this form: not placement, and not income. You can read how the program works before you apply.

Still learning the business?

Freight University's PLSP certification is a three-month program with live sessions twice a week. Graduates may be placed with a freight brokerage in the LFS network.
