What White Glove Moving Means

White-glove moving means the crew prepares the house, packs and pads the pieces, and places them in the next home. LFS is the mover that does that work.

We are a carrier-first company.

Runners, Gloves, and Placement

A standard move gets boxes to the house. A white-glove move prepares the path first. Floor runners go down. Wall pads go up where a corner or a piano will pass. The crew wears white gloves on art and finished furniture, and shoe covers when the floor calls for them.

Then the piece is placed, not left in the garage. A chair goes where you pointed. A painting is hung or set only if we agreed on that. Photos for the condition report happen at pickup and at delivery.

LFS is the licensed mover on this work. Our crew performs it. If you also have a car, read exotic car transport. If you want the city pages, start with California.

What Happens on Move Day

  1. Walk the House

We look at floors, stairs, doorways and the pieces before the truck is committed to a path.

  2. Prepare the Path

Runners and pads go down before the first piece moves.

  3. Pack and Load

Wrap, crate if needed, and load so nothing rides loose.

  4. Place and Check

Pieces go where you asked. We review the condition notes with you.

Questions about white-glove moving

Is white glove the same as full-service packing?

Packing is part of it. White glove also means the path through the house is prepared, and pieces are placed, not stacked in a room for you to finish.

Who shows up?

An LFS crew. LFS is the licensed mover performing the move. The overview is on the national page.

Do you publish a price list?

No. These moves depend on the pieces, the access and the miles. Request a private move plan and we will price that move.
