This page explains what the information on this website is, and what it is not.
Educational information only
This website is run by Logistical Forwarding Solutions LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("LFS"). The articles, guides, tools, market reports and other content on this site are general educational information about trucking and freight.
LFS is a service company. We build and manage trucking companies and freight brokerages for our clients, and we are not a freight brokerage. Each trucking company and brokerage in the LFS network operates under its own operating authority.
The articles, guides and tools on this site are not legal, tax, accounting, financial or investment advice. They are not written for your specific situation, and reading them does not create a client or professional relationship with LFS. Before you make a decision about your business, your money or your compliance, talk with a qualified attorney, accountant or other professional who knows your situation.

Rules change
Federal and state trucking rules, including those of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the Department of Transportation, change over time. We work to keep our content current and to cite our sources, but information on this site may be out of date or incomplete when you read it. Always check current rules directly with the FMCSA, the Electronic Code of Federal Regulations, the IRS, or your state agency.
Managed truck ownership is not investment advice
LFS is a trucking management company. We are not an investment adviser, broker-dealer or fund. We do not take, hold or pool investment money, and we do not sell securities. Nothing on this site is an offer to sell, or a request for an offer to buy, any security or investment.
Our managed truck ownership service is a business service: you buy and own a truck, it runs with a trucking company in the LFS network under that company's operating authority, and LFS manages it under a written agreement. Owning and operating a truck carries real business risk. Results depend on freight rates, truck uptime, driver retention, fuel, repairs, insurance and market conditions, and an owner can lose money, including all of the money put into the truck. Please read risks and disclosures before you consider it.
No promise of results
LFS does not promise or warrant any result from using our content or our services. That includes income, profit, loads, freight rates, compliance outcomes, audit results, job placement or agent placement. Examples and explanations on this site illustrate how things work; they are not predictions of what will happen for you. Your results depend on your own decisions, your equipment, the market and many factors outside our control.

Complaints submitted through FreightBrokerComplaint.com are allegations made by the people who submit them. They are not findings by LFS.

Risks of owning a truck, in plain words
Owning a semi truck can lose money. Good management lowers some risks. It cannot remove them, and we would rather you read this page before you call us than after you…
